I worked in the tech field as a software engineer writing low-level driver and processor assembly code. Nitty gritty stuff one level up from the silicon. It was interesting work, but overly encompassing. Not really a mid-life crisis, I’ve simply decided to spend time on a wider range of ideas and people that interest me.

A shuttle and concierge service to bicycle tourists seems a good way to meet interesting people, see interesting places, and take some pretty pictures along the way.
